Self-Paced Online Course Description:
This course provides a general overview of essential HR concepts for professionals who manage people but are not trained HR professionals and do not work in HR departments. Learners will be exposed to the knowledge needed for managers across industries to make sound decisions based on generally-accepted HR principles. The course will lead learners through the HR issues related to everything from hiring and firing personnel to performance management and safety. The course will also address laws related to HR functions and risk management. The goal of this course is to improve managerial decision-making and supervisory skills by providing a solid foundation in HR best practices.
