Business Development Representative

This position is responsible for providing a variety of customer outreach and administrative functions in order to increase business with new and existing customers. Performs specific assigned tasks including various clerical functions and assists with other duties as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate needs of current customers and introduce new products and services
Generate sales leads and assign to appropriate staff member
Contract negotiation with prospective clients
Help determine pricing schedules for customized training programs
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
Understand and promote CFT programs
Actively participate in social media, to promote our products and services
Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external customers and students.
Answer incoming calls.
Maintain computer and paper files of confidential training programs and educational records.
Consistently meet or exceed all service expectations.
Possess comprehensive product knowledge.
Represent CFT in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintain and protect CFT’s professional reputation. Maintain privacy of student and financial institution information.
Assist customers and students with their educational goals, including completing diploma worksheets and suggesting additional courses.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
Customer Service
Sales
Banking or Credit Union experience
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
Competency in Microsoft applications, including word, excel and outlook
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent, Associates preferred
Other Skills:
We maintain extensive student records. This position requires a significant level of trust and diplomacy
Ability to organize work, set priorities, and problem solve
Ability to manage work schedule and seek out additional tasks during downtime
Excellent mathematical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Team player

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment:
This position allows the flexibility to work from home. Although not anticipated frequently, travel is required at times and the individual must be located within 45 minutes driving time of Northampton.

Hours:
This position is 25 hours per week, with somewhat flexible hours.
